The Stanly Society was created in 1995 to honor dedicated healthcare champions who donate a minimum of $10,000 over a period of 10 years to the Foundation. These donations are at the center of the Foundation’s endowment. This fund will grow untouched, in perpetuity, creating interest income that is used each year for projects and programs to benefit the health of our community.

The President’s Club is a committed group of Atrium Health Stanly teammates who believe in and support the need for strong, responsive community healthcare. They donate one hour’s pay to the Foundation each month through payroll deduction.

Currently President’s Club consists of over 200 teammates whose bi-weekly donations combine to exceed $56,000 annually. This incredible level of commitment is used to fund health-related programs and projects that strengthen the health of our community. All gifts from teammates in the President’s Club are tax-deductible.

Once a year President’s Club Members are celebrated during President’s Club Week. During the week, members receive a small gift in gratitude for their commitment to the Foundation’s mission. Members can also find their names on the Wall of Honor in the hospital and listed in the Visions Newsletter. Join now!

A memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor the memory of a loved one. An honorarium is a unique way to recognize a special person in your life or commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday. When a commemorative gift is received, Stanly Health Foundation will send an acknowledgement to the person or family you designate. The amount of your gift is never disclosed.

The Legacy Society is a group of visionaries who have generously made plans to provide for the future of local healthcare through a will or trust.

Most planned gifts are made simply through designations in wills. However, the Foundation can arrange a free, confidential meeting between you and a planned giving advisor to explore other options that can more effectively meet your financial needs – most of which have extra benefits, such as added tax savings or income for the donor or his or her heirs.

Each year businesses commit to support the work of the Foundation. Through these partnerships, the Stanly Health Foundation is able to continue supporting programs and projects that strengthen the health of the Stanly community.
