Winner Highlight

Toni Watson, recipient of the C.B. Crook scholarship in 2018, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011 with her BSN. She returned to Stanly County and currently works in the Women’s Services Department of Atrium Health Stanly. While she continues to work and raise her young family, she is pursuing the schooling needed to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

“I am incredibly thankful to have received a scholarship from the Foundation in 2007 that helped me obtain my BSN. I was blessed enough to receive another scholarship from the Foundation this past year as I pursue my goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. I look forward to using my education to better serve others in my community.”
